Hebrews
2:1 1 Therefore we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, lest
we drift away from it. Revelation 2:4 4 But I have this against you, that you
have abandoned the love you had at first. Acts 2:36 36 Let all the house of
Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ,
this Jesus whom you crucified.” Colossians 3:16 16 Let the word of Christ
dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom,
singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your
hearts to God. Matthew 28:18 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Romans 6:16-18 16 Do
you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you
are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or
of obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God, that you
who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the
standard of teaching to which you were committed, 18 and, having been set
free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. Ephesians 5:17 17
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 3:20-21 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than
all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him
be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,
forever and ever. Amen. Matthew 28:18-20 18 And Jesus came and said to them,
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore
and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I
have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Acts 2:42 42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the
fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 1 Corinthians 11:17-22
17 But in the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you
come together it is not for the better but for the worse. 18 For, in the
first place, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are
divisions among you. And I believe it in part, 19 for there must be factions
among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized. 20
When you come together, it is not the Lord’s supper that you eat. 21 For in
eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal. One goes hungry, another gets
drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise
the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to
you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not. Revelation 3:17 17 For you
say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you
are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 1 Kings 12:25-28 25 Then
Jeroboam built Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim and lived there. And he
went out from there and built Penuel. 26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, “Now
the kingdom will turn back to the house of David. 27 If this people go up to
offer sacrifices in the temple of the LORD at Jerusalem, then the heart of
this people will turn again to their lord, to Rehoboam king of Judah, and
they will kill me and return to Rehoboam king of Judah.” 28 So the king took
counsel and made two calves of gold. And he said to the people, “You have
gone up to Jerusalem long enough. Behold your gods, O Israel, who brought you
up out of the land of Egypt.” 1 Timothy 1:18-20 18 This charge I entrust to
you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made
about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19 holding faith and a
good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith,
20 among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan
that they may learn not to blaspheme. |
