Ephesians
1:1-10 1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints
who are in Ephesus, and are faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you and
peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him
before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless
before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus
Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious
grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7 In him we have
redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to
the riches of his grace, 8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and
insight 9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his
purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time,
to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. John
1:14 14 And the Word became flesh and
dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the
Father, full of grace and truth. Luke 4:22 22 And all spoke well of him and
marveled at the gracious words that were coming from his mouth. And they
said, “Is not this Joseph’s son?” Ephesians 2:3-9 3 among whom we all once
lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and
the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved
us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with
Christ by grace you have been saved 6 and raised us up with him and seated us
with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages
he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in
Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is
not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that
no one may boast. Romans 5:1-2 1 Therefore, since we have been justified by
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we
have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we
rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 1 Timothy 1:12 12 I thank him who has
given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful,
appointing me to his service, Ephesians 1:3-10 3 Blessed be the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every
spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him
before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless
before him. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus

to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. Romans 5:8
8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ
died for us. Romans 1:20 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal
power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation
of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Ephesians 2:8 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is
not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 2 Corinthians 6:1 1 Working
together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in
vain. |
