Four Important DecisionsINTRODUCTIONI. Life is made up of decisions!TRAININGI. The decision regarding training for life is a major decision. Schooling helps shape the mind, whichguides the way we live. (Proverbs 4:23; 1 Timothy 1:19)A. The choice of schools and instructors must be made wisely. (Matthew 12:33-37)VOCATIONI. Choosing a vocation for life is a major-decision because much of one’s whole life evolvesaround a job. (Titus 3:14)A. Material gains do not necessarily measure a successful vocation. (Luke 12:15)B. We need to profess honest occupations for necessary uses. (Mark 10:23)COMPANION FOR LIFEI. Choosing a companion for life is a major decision. (Genesis 2:18; 1 Corinthians 7:1-5; Hebrews 13:4)A. Marriage is capable of producing great happiness or misery. (Proverbs 15:17)B. Happiness comes in a marriage only when the right needs are supplied by each companion.FINAL DESTINATIONI. The most important decision of all is your eternal destiny.A. God has placed before every soul life and death, the blessing and the curse, and He exhorts tochose life and blessing. (Deuteronomy 20:19; 1 Timothy 4:8; 1 Peter 1:21)B. God leaves it to man to freely make the choice in this life. (Romans 6:16-18, 22, 23)CONCLUSIONI. The choices of schooling, job and companion will determine much about contentment of life here aswell as our eternity.A.
