How Do
You Know God? We often stand at a distance from things we don’t know very
well, whether it be people or situations.
On the other hand, when we are familiar with someone or something, we
are much more open to form a deeper relationship or to put aside fear and
inhibitions. Let us realize how well
our Creator knows us and appreciate that how we know Him will affect our
eternity. A. God Knows You 1.
Consider the wonder that the Master Designer has put into His creation
(Ps. 139:14; Gen. 1-2) 2. He knows the details of the working of His
hand. (Matt. 6:25-32; Matt. 10:28-31)
3. The heart and thoughts of
man are no secret to Him (1 Cor. 4:5; Luke 16:15; Rom. 2:16) 4.
He knows our greatest needs (Eph. 1:3-4; Matt. 6:33-34) 5.
He shows Job how intimately He knows the creation He has made (Job
38-39) B. Seeing God for Who He Really
Is 1. Do you know Him, are you seeking Him? (Acts
17:24-28; Heb 11:6) 2. Consider the ______________________ of God! (Rom. 11:33-36; Psalm 114,
Exod.33:18-23) 3. Appreciate His ___________________________!
(Ps. 93:1; Ex. 15:11; 2 Pet.1:16-17)
4. Take in the depth of His
______________________ (Ps.13:5-6; John 3:16-17; Ps. 57:9-11) C. Now That I Know, What Should I Do? 1.
Understand the need to ____________________God for who He is (Rom
1:19-21) 2. _______________________ (Ps.111:9; Heb.
12:28; Ps.111:10, 19:9) 3. _______________________ (Hab. 2:20;
Isa.25:1) 4. _______________________ (Gal.2:20, 1 Cor.
9:16) |
