“Trusting God””Trust is one of the main foundations of all our interactions. Without it, relationships are nearly impossible to form; marriages and families cannot exist, leading to the demise of societies and cultures. Trust is an extremely important part of who we are and how we were created. Trust can take years to earn and only a matter of seconds to lose. So, it is essential to understand how God teaches us about it by His very nature and through His wise dealings with mankind.””1)                                    I trust God? (Proverbs 3:5-6)””a.  Man is far from perfect (Rom.3:11-12) We often want to do right, but lack the ability to carry it out””(Rom. 7:18)””b.  God is different.  (Psalm 9:10; Isa. 26:3-4) He can be trusted in ways that man cannot (Psalm 118:8-9)””c.  It’s not always easy to trust things we can’t understand (Mark 9:24)””d.  God has shown us He has our best in mind (Jer.29:11; Ps. 37:5-6; 56:3-4)””e.  He is all the things man is not. (Ps.111:7; 25:10; Isa.46:10)””2)                                        I trust in God? (2 Cor.3:4-6)””a.  Those who poured out their heart and wisdom did – showed Him as a stronghold and protector””(Ps.18:2; Ps. 25:1-2, Prov. 30:5)””b.  Abraham did (Gen.22:1-14; Heb.11-17-19)””c.  Noah did (Gen. 7:4-5; 12; Heb.11:7)””d.  What is my alternative? (Ps.20:7; 118:8; Ps.32:10)””3)                                        I trust in the Lord?””a.  There is no                              in trust (Ps.56:3-4)””b.  Trust frees us from                                                (Phil.4:6-7)””c.  Trust keeps us from                                     and                                     (Job 8:13; 1 Pet.1:21)””d.  Trust brings                                                  (Isa.26:3-4)””e.  Trust implies                                  , obedience, and                                   (Phil2:13; Heb.10:36)””Think of some who lived before us, godly men who failed to completely trust in him (Moses, Peter, Elijah, Jonah,””etc.). It is the daily battles, the quick decisions in the moment, the spears and arrows that Satan will hurl our way that will test us to truly put our trust in God. Trusting God is akin to breathing for the True Christians. “For in Him we live, and move, and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Learning to trust Him entirely will save us completely.”
