From the
Tribe of Benjamin In Genesis 49, Jacob
is about to pass from this life, and he calls his sons together to offer them
a blessing. To his last son, Benjamin, he says this in verse 27: “Benjamin is
a ravenous wolf.” The tribe of Benjamin was known for their fierce and mighty
warriors (Judges 20:15-16; 1 Chronicles 12:2; Judges 3:15). And, from the
tribe of Benjamin, we see two men rise up and become great leaders – but one
man allowed vices to rule his life and the other displayed the virtues of
