10 Things Satan
Loves to See in a Church  A. “Be
sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a
roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Pet 5:8).  B. If those words are true, what must we be
on the lookout against to avoid giving Satan a foothold? #1 – – absence of
passion, emotion, or excitement; lack of interest or concern (Rom 12:11). #2
– – built on lies is good (John 8:44); built on truth is even better (Eph
4:27). #3 – – those who always have to be “in the know” (1 Tim
5:13). #4 – – the more trivial the subject, the better! (Phi! 4:2-3) #5 – –
the brother or sister who is disheartened, exhausted, and empty (Gal 6:9). #6
– – the result of a settlement between two or more parties (Rom 1:25; James
4:4).  #7 – – paying little or no
attention to things that deserve great attention (Luke 11:42).  #8 – – deviation from accuracy,
correctness, or soundness (1 John 4:6; 2 Pet 3:17)  #9 – – lack of knowledge, information, or
education (Has 4:6; Jer 5:30-31).  #10
– – selfish ambition, conceit, or self-importance (Phi! 2:1-4).
