BibleTube.net was founded in 2010 by Allen Wilcox of Columbus, OH. Allen’s vision was to create a free resource (like YouTube) that would provide a resource to those looking to watch Bible-based lessons and sermons. After BibleTube’s launch, it hosted videos of both bible classes and sermons largely from the Laurel Canyon Church of Christ (where Allen attended faithfully with his wife, Carol). Allen has also been very happy to host “sing-along” acapella hymns on his site that were compiled from multiple sources. For over 9 years, BibleTube.net grew its number of videos to over 1,200 videos available to help individuals grow in their faith and service to our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. Allen worked alongside members of the Laurel Canyon Church of Christ and his grandchildren to help produce and grow the site’s content.
We encountered many technical challenges over the years and in 2019, we began revamping BibleTube.net in order to make the site’s content more reliable and more expansive than before. BibleTube now includes videos from other congregations and biblical preachers across the United States.
In January of 2021, Allen passed from this earthly life to await the return of his Lord and Savior. Today, the site is maintained solely by his children and grandchildren. We look forward to growing Bibletube.net for many more years to come and our hope is that you will utilize the site’s content to grow closer to God.
